Service fuel system help???

I have a 2005 Auto with 6500 miles on it today I had Service fuel system come up on the DIC and the fuel gage dropped to nothing a few mins later the same thing! It has been like it since. I have checked the gas cap.
Is this ok to drive like this or will it cause a problem? The car seemed fine.

Had the same thing happen to my 05 and my mothers... Take it to the dealership and they will install an update and everything should be fine. I started a thread on this last year asking the same question as you and now I'm giving you the same advice that was given to me. Its normally a quick and easy fix........ Havent had a problem since :partyon:
