how big of a PITA is it to replace the shifter knob (manual),
what is the thread size and who carries the after-market knobs?
Thanks in advance:cheers:

I don't have the threadsize off-hand, but I got an "8-ball" shifter from www.flameball.com.

The quality was perfect! The come highly recommended by lots of Vette guys.

If you are looking for something fancier (or aluminum) then Mid-America/Ecklers have a few.

Really? I wonder why shift knobs are never stated as "for C4 & C5" ... it always seems to be one or the other. Hmm....

Nope. You put threadlock on the threads. It'll never move once you spin it all the way down and then line it up.
