Hi all,

I'm purchasing the performance plus suspension and i'm looking at ordering with a shorter spring for wider tyres in the future.
My question to those in the know or with a shorter spring is, Does this pose a problem with the angle of the bolts between spring and trailing arm or is a modification done to the trailing arm to reposition the bolt and how much shorter have you gone?

Details of your wheel and tire combo would also be interesting!

Thanks Liam.

I sent them an email two weeks ago and heard nothing back, I'm buying through Custom Image Corvettes, Josh will actually give you the time of day:thumbsup:
I don't see any sense in wasting my time chasing people to give them my hard earn't cash;)

Thanks all the same:cheers:.

Anyone running a short spring?

I have a short spring on my 80. There is no problem with the bolts being at an angle. I have 18X10 foose wheels with 285-40-18's. I believe the wheel BS is 5.25" and they did hit before I got the shorter spring.

Great, I take it that is without flares judging by your avatar.
