and I looking at a yellow one that had been an export model and was brought back to the US and was for sale cheap with really low miles and needing emissions conversions...and a red one that belonged to a pro-football player that was going through some tough times.

I wasn't sure she would like the yellow so I go to see the red one. Turns out the guy also had a late model black VW bug. I end up making the deal on the bug and brining it home because my 3 year old son LOVES Herbie the love bug and can spot one 10 miles away.

Then...and I'm honestly not joking about this...I woke up.

Now how is that for a nightmare!

It was one of those dreams that was so real, I woke up thinking I needed to go check the garage to see if I really passed up the Vette for a bug.

Now, in 2001 I surprised my wife with a torch read 00 C5 six speed coupe for Christmas. She has a blast with that car, but I was an evil ogre and made her get rid of it when are son was born as it was her only daily transpo and I didn't feel it safe for the most precious cargo. She still doesn't forgive me. I guess I'm having feedback nightmares from that!

I feel safest when Annie and I are running around in the Vette - it has the best capability of any car I've ever owned to avoid an accident, and I would judge it as the vehicle that provides me with the highest probability of survival if I should be involved in an accident.

I don't blame your wife - I'd still be mad at you, too!
