Put the top up and the window went crack! Can I get the window replaced or do I get to buy a new top? Top is fine other than the window.

I think the windows are bonded to the vinyl top. I had different convertible car that had a foggy wimdow. They cut it out an sewed a new window in and (my recollections is) it worked fine. I sort of rebember that the sewed seam collected some water in the rain and dripped but it's been a while so maybe my recollection is as foogy as the window they replaced:laughing:

Thanks for the info. I was a bit po'd the window went away, not really unexpected, but still...

A water leak is not a deal. the only water the car has seen since 1974 has come from a hose..

When you get a new top, get a top pillow.:thumbsup:

You can also (and I will do this myself) get a new window install with a zipper. It allows you to remove the window (or replace it) like an early coupe! :thumbsup:

I know Al Knock does this! :cheers:
