Sold my baby guys and gals. Yes, it was hard to let go, But there is a reason for it. Going to try my best to BUY TWO IN ONE YEAR. Thats right two, are you thinking what I am:crazy: huuuh yea I had a brain fart. Seen a 69 shark matching numbers vert with only 70K on it( RED ON RED) belongs to friend and he is holding it for me untill I come up with cash. Then after I got to reading more about the C7 I am more than likley going to get a C7 too. But untill I get one or both I will be checking in from time to time. Man I am glad I have a four car bay GARAGE

PS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS AND GALS. THIS STILL IS THE BEST CORVETTE SITE AROUND:D

Good luck on the wait. I know how you feel.

Up until Jan. 06 I had, owned at least one vette (and up to 3) since I was 16. A house fire took my 68, and 96 LT4, I was on my way home from flying out and driving back a 98 coupe when it happened. It was our only car for awhile (fire was in the garage) but ended up selling in order to "be responsible" while we tried to get our new house in order.

Been a little over a year now and I'm having to fight off the bug. I'm trying to wait another 2 years because my wife will be done with her training and be working. Then my plan is either a C6 (might decide on C7 by that time) and a 69 haha.

I seem to find myself looking at classifieds daily though.... must.....wait.....

Anyway, I feel your pain. Hopefully before we both know it, we'll be showing off our new rides.

Rob

Incidentally, we moved up to Tulsa from Ft. Worth in 04. Miss it.

Well you know vettes are all around me when I am driving. But nothing like old C3 will turn my head faster. Sorry to hear about the fire. But like you said before you know it, there will be pics posted about that sweet ride. Or I hope in my case 2.
Hey good luck in Tulsa, and when you get the time come on back to Ft Worth.

I totally understand the logic behind your madness. Kinda hard not to since I have a fine C3 and a nice C5 vert for stable mates. They didn't play well with the C4 so it had to go....

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PLAN
