It's all in the stirring of the soup!

For those of us old foagies that have always wanted a Corvette but never could afford that in addition to raisng kids, mortgages and 50+ hour work weeks for chicken scratch and 20+ Years in the US Navy, to finally be able to have one for me is a true blessing. Like a reward for all the years of patience, hard work and tenacity. Add to this the double blessing that I am really frothing at the idea of buying this C7 ZR-1 at 100k or not and I am humbled. To all of you that are multiple Corvette owners, you, I hope, really are appreciative of your blessings..ie Patrick..I love my C5 vert and, it, like I knew it would, only makes me want more. I am now working hard to eliminate all my debt including my home so that by 2010 or 2011 I can pay cash for a shiny new ZR1 while I'm still young enough and healthy enough to enjoy it. Those near my age (50) that are now experiencing their first vette (or as my daughter calls it, "Mid Life Crisis") know how I feel. As for those much younger that have this awsome machine in their hands, How cool is that. As I said before I got my Kids their hot rods (G-35 Coupe and Nissan 350Z) before I got my wife and I ours. (We saved the best for last huh??) God bless all of you and the very best in 2008 to you as well.

Oh Hell No!!!LOL

 I just got rid of the 2 weeds I have now..More Kids???? You should seek pschiatric assistance for the mere suggestion.. They're too damn expensive or aka Corvette Blockers. I/We have this small window of opportunity between getting them gone and having them return with "grand-children???" where my wife and I can grab up a few things for ourselves
So far one C5 with hopefully a C7 in the near future...After that My Lap is once more open for the bouncing babies...LOL:laughing:

hooooraaaaah

Serving 22 years for my country, visiting 66 countries in the process...nothing to me means more than a Corvette. The other Euro types have their due place, and respect, but nothing conjours up more thought provoking visions of speed, girls, apple pie and mom, than a Covette! Like Kev, I've paid my dues...and my military retirement, for the moment, pays for the monthly privilege of owning a 2006 Victory Red Covertible. My reward to myself. And yes, having 3 Corvettes certainly keeps me entertained! Like I tell most people...you can keep your money in a bank for someone else to use, earning maybe 2 or 3% a year...as for me, I drive my bank accounts and earn 5 to 12% per year at the same time!!

THANKS FOR SERVING BROTHER...AND I COULDN'T AGREE MORE...AS FOR ME I PLAN ON DRIVING MY KIDS INHERITANCE..HELL THEY MAKE MORE MONEY THAN ME ANYHOW.
