Any suggestions as to the best way to remove the spent rubber from drag burnouts? Wheel wells, fenders, mufflers, Etc. Or is show car / dragcar an oxymoron?

I show and Drag.
Use food grade silicone on your fenders etc.
Let soak in. Then with a soft cloth wipe off.
Repeat as needed.
Be sure to wash/wax afterwards.
You may want to buy "Burn-out Guard".
Spray on before events and rubber washes right off.
Also, right after an event, I stop by one of those do-it-yourself high pressure washes with a wand, and spray that stuff off before I get home. Try spraying your mufflers with silicone or even PAM before a race. Will wash right off.
Keep a good coat of wax on your car as well.
In the old days I would apply paste wax on my fenders and let it dry without rubbing it off. Looked hazy but it worked.
Try scotch brite pads on your exhaust if needed.
Good luck.

Thanx Matt - some great advice. I will try it all. I noticed a couple of your other posts and was hoping you would reply here since you seemed to have experience in both arenas. I'm somewhat new to Corvettes and racing, but I'm learning fast, and having a blast:partyon:
