I've got a 2000 C5 that was lowered when i got it. I've got major loud and irritating squeaking and groaning noise coming from the front and rear end. I've seen some other posts saying lowering did make for this kind of noise. I've replaced the sway bar pads and that didn't help. I've ordered rear spring pad bushings and am hoping to install them this weekend. Vette 1171 sugested to lube under the front leaf spring ends but as far as i can tell there are no bushings for the front. Do they just rest metal to metal and in the section diagrams in my Corvette America catalog there are no bolts or bushings shown on either end like for the rear. Why come? I'd appreciate any advice on anything else to look at to quiet the noise.
