This was a very tasty kill. :D
Coming out of the parking lot I see a new 997 Turbo waiting at the light.
I quickly proceed out and we both happened to head onto the same highway (OH YEAH :partyon:)

I noticed that he must've noticed me and I knew was eager to run judging by his very aggressive driving style. Methodically I work my way through the cars to get next to him and sure enough we get rewarded with an open stretch of highway.

Like I said, I knew he was gonna gun it, so before I pull up even to him I drop it 2nd gear (we must've been doing ~50mph)
Sure enough as soon I near him he floors it.... I'm ready though :D and I drop the hammer as well ... it's ON :partyon:

Immediately I start pulling and proceed to easily put on about a car or two through third gear. Unfortunately we had to shut it down because cars started to approach ahead.

Later on we got a totally perfect opportunity with wide open highway. I pulled up to him, showed three fingers (as in - ON THREE), proceeded to slowly honk three times and took off after 3rd......he didn't :WTF... after a few seconds he guns it and flies by
Noob doesn't know how to race :smack

As note, this Porsche sounded pretty loud when he got on it. I expected it to be quieter. Perhaps he had some aftermarket exhaust on it... not sure...
I had the top down too btw :D

What makes the situation so much more gratifying is judging by his "demeanor" and cocky driving style he must've thought he was gonna annihilate "some old vette" with his "No substitute" new $120K toy.
Possibly even told his chick who was riding shotgun so too

Vette: 1

I imagine that he was expecting a stock Corvette , not a 496 H.P. monster . Be nice ... those Porsche drivers have such fragile egos .

496 rear wheel hp that is a BEAST! considering a 15% driveline loss for manual 6 speed that equals 583 CRANK HP!!
No sure exactly how much HP @ crank, but bottom line - it doesn't matter.
All that matters is what meets the pavement :D
Any stock Porsche will clearly be out of it's league in that department :spanked:
