Hey everyone,

It seems that I must be down on my luck these days. The '86 still runs like crap, and my master cylinder is still leaking. I finally took it into a shop awhile ago to get it repaired, and this whole time my leak has been from the little switch on top. The leak is from a hole between the prongs. I've taken it there 3 times and they can't find anyway to fix it. They said that it might be time to replace the master cylinder, but I wanted to ask you guys first.

To sum it up: stupid switch is leaking brake fluid, is there anyway to fix it without replacing the master cylinder?

I just bought a master cylinder for my car, It was only $70 from Autozone with a $40 core charge that you get back when you return the bad one.
I would just play it safe and replace that sucker.

:agree: No sense in taking a gamble on fixing it. The brakes are the one thing you definitely need on a car!
