Anybody do it? Is it as simple as LS1howto.com says it is? I'm really considering this, especially since I looked at the stocker. It has a big slot/hole in it. That is where air will pass over, making it turbulent. Not to mention it has to flow over the hump to get in.

Any suggestions? Any gains? Any losses?

There is a post at corvetteforum.com where a guy dynoed his before and after with no other mods. There was a five horsepower difference. The seat of the pants difference feels like more than that. Great throttle response.
