Temp gauge is a temp gauge, not going to change on account of fans...

but that sending unit problem is identical to mine in that I forgot to get the #113 aluminum heads machined for the old gauge...I went and changed the resistors across the gauge to correspond to a Ford truck sender '99 5 liter, as I recall....

The values I used for the resistors, I have posted about in the past....but forgot what they are, have to go check, I just played around untill the important parts of the range were pretty accurate....

Dunno about the temp probe, what it takes size wise, but the two intakes I have to look at one is a performer edel, the other is GM aluminim..I see many holes into the front crossover...more in the Gm than the Edel...

wonder if you have a probe meant to go into the radiator fins?? some do,...

another way is to slide it up into the upper hose, near the radiator, seal the tube with a dap of RTV, and clamp hose around it...sneak it over to switch controller....
