I was testing my new 383 tonight.
The responce wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be, and I also thought it wasn't much hotter than my old (pretty hot) 327. Do I have to big cam??
Disapointed was the word.

That was before I found that the second ports butterflies in my Holley 650 dp didn't open.
After a simple modyfying, all butterflies now opens as they should.

New test:
Wow, what a difference!!!
Engine just roar and pulls directly to >5500 rpm (I was affraid to pass 5500 rpm as the engine is newly assemled)
The power is unbelivble!
Tonight I will go to bed with a big big smile over my face :excited:

Don't have any video yet, but I will try to make one......

Sounds like a nice setup. Glad you found the problem. I would hate to have been through all of that to find I did not gain anything. :thud:
