Sure do I would suggest you ship it to me and I will drive it for you until the smell goes away...:rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

It should not take more than 6 months or a year...

Yep, all the plastics are "off gasing", it's actually bad for you.

My garage and lower level of the house reeked like that for a few months! It's bad isn't it?

My Porsche and Viper buddies took every opportunity to remind me that it smelled like Revel model glue....for my "plastic" car.

Get ready...when it gets warm out the smell gets worse. I've had my car for a year now and it went away after about 6 months.

Tell those friends of yours that it is fiberglass, and a lot lighter than aluminum or steel!

And since when did people dislike that new car smell-it is right up there with gasoline and Sharpies:smack I love it!

Trust me this is not the new car smell that everyone is thinking of! I know what you mean by new car smell, its that fresh newness when you step inside the car.

The "glue" smell is something completely different, and in fact overpowers that good new car smell. It literally smells like fumes, like model glue. Trust me its not a pleasant aroma, it almost stings your senses. My entire house reeked of this noxiousness for the first few months. I even debated putting the car outside until it stopped smelling.

Thank god it went away eventually.

Yeah, its pretty strong when new, especially when hot. In addition to all the new car glue, sealer, foam, and plastic parts, there's all that fiberglass. There is actually a service bulletin for Corvette and XLR telling dealers not to attempt deodorizing proceedures, they won't help, the odor will go away with time. Depending on your garage situation, you could park it with windows down to help it air out.

Park it in your garage, top off/down, windows down. It will go away.

Really confuse them and tell them that it is sheet molded plastic. They will like that with the glue remark. It really isn't laid up fiberglass anymore
