Guys, I have been lurking around watching what everyone has done with their cars and am beginning to tire of chromed Z06 wheels. Its not because they look bad, it is just because I'm getting too much of a good thing I guess. I suppose that painting them black is nice and the $6000 plan for any set isn't going to hunt in my mind so I'll do the best cheap thing.....nothing! Wouldn't it be cool if we could trade wheels around, like a lease? I could run the black ones for 1/32'' of tire while you have the chromes, then I trade for the Mallets etc. So what do you think about my dilemma and how I'm handling it? Yes, life is a living hell in a new red Z06......someone has to bear this awful weight and it is I. Lol. QuickRick btw, I lowered the car and it is way better looking already!:huh:

QuickRick. Your local dealership has such a program. To take advantage of it, you need to be there at about 2:00am. Be sure to bring your own jack and lug wrench. Dark clothes help. Be sure to watch out for BLM's "flashing blues". If you see them the program is over. Just run like hell.
Seriously, I've gotten some great deals on wheels that other people are tired of. Check your local tire place. Sometimes they know of wheels that are available.

I just sold my 1 year old Z06 wheels to a buddy of my ... They look great but just too many people has them
