The Neighbor's M'Fk'n Dog Bite My Corvette !

I came home from work the other day and Found my car cover shredded and on the ground and these Tooth Marks in my front fender

So I loaded up my Shot Gun And went next door and knocked on the neighbors front Door

Quote: I told him, I'm Here to Keel yure M'Fk'n Dog

He told me take it easy I'll pay to have the fender fixed

After many phone calls to his house: He sends over some Local Jokall Body man to my house to give him an estimate

Dude Asks me how do you remove the fender :WTF

And I swiftly escorted his Dumb a************ Off My Property !

I took the car to a shop of my choice that has much experience working on Classic cars as well as late model Corvettes

Me at the Body Shop:

Final Estimate $750 Dunkettes

Seemed like alot of money so even though I'm not paying the Bill

I asked the guy

Can you Do me Better

And said he said I'll do it for $500 Cash

This is about a 7 Bay shop and his Bodymen are well rehearsed in Fiberglass repair

The truely awful thing about this whole situation is that I haft to continually chase this dude down to get an estimate, Talk about Repairing my car, and discuss the fact that his Stupid M'Fk'n dog keeps Damaging my property

I'm getting the Vibe like Ohhhhhhhh well It's Okay my M'Fk'n Dog goes over this guys House and Damages his Corvette or other property

And I'm beginning to Get really hostile about this situation

So he had better get his Ass in gear on fixing my car

Some people Amaze me

They lack certain Respect for other people and their possessions

If my dog Damaged your property you can be certain I would have car your fixed Immediatly

And Thank my lucky star's you are'nt Sueing me "YET"

Bon

Nothing surprises me anymore. There are so many disrespectful people out there... and even more who want to shirk their responsibilities.

I hope you get the repair completed ASAP.

That seriously sucks, and I'd be very pissed if I was in your situation. However.. I feel like I couldn't help but laugh if I saw a dog gnawing on a car.

Hopefully the neighbor makes good with the $500 before he gets a dhl delivery of your boot in his ass.

Yes and what people do not realize

Is when Pit Bulls or Any dog Running in a pack

Develope's what's called "Pack Instinct"

And you should be extremely Cautious when presented with a situation like this,

I have been a Mountain Biker for many years and run into many encounters with other peoples Dogs

As well as 1 Rogue Dog living in an old Abandoned Tin shed out in the middle of the Desert

I'll Keep you posted

Thanks Bon

Elvis had a Bullet hole in the side of his Pantera

Insurance

If you live in a home than your neighbor my have home owners insurance and I would ask him for it also you should make a police report so they have a record of it so in the future if you have more run ins with the dog you can get it removed

Thank you

Yeah I filed a police report and took photos

$500 bucks is nothing these days

And he owns 2 Subway resturants

So I don't want to hear it

Just ponie it up so I can restore my car to the way it was before your Animal trespassed on my property

Then we can go back to being friends

I have been on the other side of the issue. I had a C4 in the home shop for some minor repairs. I went to NAPA for some parts and when I returned my damn dog had munched on the Corvette in several spots. The tab to fix it at the local shop was $500 and it even made the local paper....must have been a slow news day

Nice red 'vette, the circled areas have bite marks and the missing lens cover was never found

The dog, an Akita/Chow mix

This was more than 10 years ago, the cost would probably be higher now.

You can keep dogs of your property with high pitch noise
not heard by human . There is several different types
out on the market , most starts up when barking is heard .

Yeah if it was my dog , The dog would be in the pound by now

The thing is, is that the Dog Littered and one of the other neighbors took a couple of the pups

They all exhibit Skittishness, paranoia and Aggression, Just like their mother ,also they have bad habit of waundering around other peoples property

I feel a Law suit is on the way

I don't play when it comes to my property

especially since I see that you have such an Ohhh well attitude about the whole matter

And like my property is No Big Deal

"I'll get your attention and Quick if this ever happens again"

Bon the dog and the wife both were sent packing, but in my case Ralph's vette was in my yard where the dog lived. I paid all of the expenses at a shop of his choosing and we remained friends afterward. Your neighbor is responsible for the damages incurred by their dog and in most cases it will be covered by their homeowners insurance. If he resists paying file in small claims court, if nothing else it is something he has to deal with at that point even if he wins the case. If your town has a leash law I would call animal control too. The worse part is your car will have a panel that may fade or look different from the rest of the car. No amount of money will make it new again.
