Redistricting has always been the party in power's perogative. The dems did it in 2000 to favor themselves. I fail to understand how this article shows that the GOP gaining significant seats , governorships, and state legislative positions will impact immigration reform for the worse....unless it's just a point of view.

the one thing I find despicable about this--

Cruising down south congress in Austin there is an elementary school near the out skirts. I've driven past it several times. Each time it had something on its marquee/sign. You know the standard PTA meeting, school event info. Every time it was written in only Spanish.


This is a travesty for an elementary school in the state capitol of our nation's largest state to be purely Mexican speaking
