hell that day :laughing:

i was ready to test my car with 150 shot of nitrous but look what's happen i was on my way to the dyno shop and when i parked out side the dyno shop i hear cracking sound coming from my engine and i suggest it's a crank sound i ask 2 guys abut the sound and all of them says the same :thumbsup:

am not really sad but unlucky cuz it was waiting to see the number with the 150 shot :D

now lets see what can i do to reborn the z06 again

am thinking to go up with LSX 454CID any advice any ideas suggestions am ready to learn and know more abut the car

will change the gear what's best advices am waiting for u guys and lets see what do u have ;)

this was the route i was going until i sold my c5:

454 lsx
dragon slayer crank
ed cutis custom grind cam
diamond pistons
afr 245 heads
walbro elec water pump
fast 102 intake
injectors and etc

i priced it out for about $7500.00 parts
or just buy a crate ls6 short block for $3000 and put her back to good running condition and get a c6

I have some piston damage in my ls1, and the road i decided to go down is either a 402 or a 427 ls2 with:
102mm lsx
102mm tb
trick flow cnc'd heads (consistently dynow higher and flow better than afr)
lg g5x3 cam
callies compstar crank/rods
weisco pistons
comp cams pro gold rocker arms
melling high volume oil pump (to support the cooler)

I just need to decide if the extra $1000 is worth it for 25 more cubes....

i was thinking to build an 454 lsx and i think it's will be awesome with 2 stages 250 + 250 it's will be in a 900hp

and great build for a C5

the 454 lsx is nice, but is a little overkill and over budget for my needs :smack * cant believe i said that, must be the wife typing*

you are going to run 500hp of NO2?

I still plan on making about 600-650hp when its all said and done, and i shouldnt need much help getting there with that comp. I know a stock cub LS2 with the cnc'd trick flow heads and a more mild cam makes about 550hp with stock maf, intake and tb and exhaust. so i should be pretty close to 600 with what i listed with a set of long tubes/high flow cats/exhaust.

realistically, 600-650 is about all you can use in autocross, and it will still give me more than enough power to rape at 1/4 mile too lol

there is a guy @ Rapid Motor sport named jordan he build an 449Ci with a semi solid roller and on pump gas he hits the 612 whp and 551wtrq
