Fitting the new L88 hood on my 72 is a tedious job. :surprised I'm finding that I have to elongate the hinge mounting holes to center it at the nose. I also had to grind the hinges at the swivel portion to gain clearance so the dang things will bolt tight without crunching fiberglass. Then I had to move factory shims from the left side to the right, and even make 7 new ones to get the nose flushed up.

Slowly, sl,owly, I'm getting there:cheers:

Rudy,

I put a fiberglass cowl induction hood on a hotrod S10 pickup that I had.

The front was held down by hood pins, and the rear used the hinges. It was the worst nightmare of my life getting that thing lined up and fitted.

I feel your pain.
