Would you all recommend this for my 1991 L98 or do you all think it would be a waste of my money?

Waste.

The total length the air has to flow before it hits the combustion chamber on a TPI is too long already.
we dyno tested those before....THEY ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND CASH!!!

if you must TINKER.....heres a cheap mod that works

BTW the throttle body air foils DO give you about 1-2 hp if your determined to waste $40

BUT porting your plenum and runner entrances gives you more and costs less

got one on my car...1.25'' thick...local machine shop made it for me a few years ago...makes throttle cable bracket line up better on the lt1 intake conversion...did nothing on the tuned port intake as measured by 1/4 mi e.t...all the f-body guys are intimidated by the spacer with hood up on cruise nite, laughter is a health aid even if discrete.
That's some good stuff...

Why waste your money on the coolant bypass piece when you can do it for free. Look at my engine pictures. All you have to do is run a heater hose from the metal line on the pass. side frame rail, over the AC compressor, and onto the heater hose port in the front of the intake. And before you ask, no there are not any hood clearance issues.
I already did the TB Bypass but what I did was I replaced the whole hose so I wouldn't have to use a coupling. And I also finally lowered the front of my Vette... I am gonna start looking for the pulley kit for the Elimination of the AIR/EGR Pump.
Yeah, I used a solid piece of hose myself. Zip products has the air pump eliminator, or you might find it on EBAY.
Grumpy Vette thanks for the tips they work great...:partyon:

Only TB spacer plate that works

As always, thanks Grumpy for the tips. Will be getting a performance throttle body soon. Hoping it wouldn't be a total waste.
Unless it is fogging, that mod is about as useless as can be. A virgin sacrifice would make more sense.
