It seems like it's getting harder and harder to find tires for my 1994 Coupe. What are some of the good options left out there to purchase?

Mickey Thompson Street Comps.
315 35 R17.
275 40 R17.

On my 87 Corvette. Love them..
Summer tires but will grip at 32 F after 10 miles warmup driving.
-10F they Plasticize up.
20,000 miles driving.
Several heavy burnouts and still plenty of tread left.

They work in Heavy Rain.
Have driven to 130 mph and no hydroplane in the rain.

Unlike all other tires I had on my Corvette since 2007 Big Burnouts does not screw them up.

All others the Tread got Fubared up bad.
Takes it like a True Drag Race tire.

Nothing better out there.
At least I found.

Guess I'd want to know what you use the car for?

Is it a DD, weekend cruiser, some type of racing (drag/autocross/long track), or a mix of a few things?

In general I buy my tires from the local Great American Tire shop since I know the owner and usually get a pretty good deal. Of course I have to plan ahead since it usually takes a few days to get whatever I pick in for the older cars I have, but I've always been able to find something.

After much research I just purchased a set Nitto 555-G2s for my '95 Coupe. Under $800 out the door, regular price. Discount Tire got them to the store in 1 day. Balanced with Hunter 9700. Smooth as glass on the interstate. Put about 3,000 mi. per year on car as most of it is car shows in Ohio, except 1 trip per year to All Corvette Show in Myrtle Beach. Even though the tires are stock and same tread width profile as on my friend's new C7, the tread contact patch is wider than his stock Michelin's. The tread is also very aggressive and shows nicely. They are designed to sipe water extremely well. If they wear and handle as well as the Kuhmo ECSTA's I pulled off I will be extremely pleased.
