I am happy to let you know that I got my Corvette today :D

She is a 1988 Convertible, white with a black hard top.
She as only 70000 miles on her, has RVS exhausts, Z52, automatic gearbox, and she was imported to holland in 1992.
The only thing she needs at this time is new rubber and a good alarm sytem, she will get that next week.
I am the 3th Dutch owner.

I would like to wish you all, and your family, a very Happy New Year (I know I will have one) save miles or km's lots of sunshine and clear roads.

God bless America.

Congratulations!!!! And welcome to digitalcorvettes!

I still remember the giddy excitement when I was handed the keys to both of my vettes.

You know, I still get a giddy feeling whenever I get to take it for a ride, it never seems to go away.

Is this your first Corvette? Is it an 88' 35th Anniversary?

So, how is day 2 of ownership? How long did you drive around on day 1 ?
To be honest, the second day was a bad one, when I drove the car, early in the morning :) All was fine at first, but after some time I got a SES and the car started to run like it was on 7 cylinders at low RPM, and in "N" or "P" 1200-1400 RPM, when home I read the code, it was a code 33, so that scared me a lot, MAF senser ???
Next day the SES was gone at first, but came back.
I sarted to clean connectors, put a K&N air filter in, cleand the TB.
Now sometimes it still goes to Hi RPM's 1000-1200 but runs fine, and no SES anymore, strange thing is when cold it runs super, 600-700 RPM.
I looked at vacuum but didn't find anything.
To me it feels like the trottle is stuck sometimes ????

Other then that, the car is GREAT and the problem will be found and solved. :D
