I have 96 LT4, recently took the factory wheels off and put new wheels on. I did not have the TPMS sensors reinstalled, figured I would just pull the bulb. I ran it for the first time last night and did not get a low tire warning-shouldnt it have come on with the sensors removed?

I know it was working because I have gotten the low tire warning in the past with the old wheels. Also, the bulb is good because when you turn the key on it lights up. What am I missing here?

Also, did the spare tire have a sensor in it? Last time I got a warning all the air in the tires were good but the spare was low, when I aired it up the light went away. Any ideas?

After doing some more research I read a post where they mentioned if two or more of the sensors were missing the light would not come on? Not sure of that, does anyone know how to test the sensors to see if they are working?
