Daily driver? It's one of the two Vettes. Generally my black lab picks the "vette of the day" when we are heading out to get coffee in the morning. He prefers the C6 because he doesn't have to jump over a rollbar.what are you using for daily driver and what is difference between comp mode and active handling, Thanks

As for comp mode and all that stuff, I just turn it off. Or, in the case of the DC Z, I broke the entire system so now I don't have to worry about turning it off. Although I wish I still had ABS brakes sometimes. But, not really.
I think you are mistaken..there are three different settings:comp mode turns off active handling and traction control
the other turns off the traction control
i keep both on until im stopped and i just turn off the traction control because competition mode doesn't add any more hp:thumbsup:
Right, comp mode lessens the AH "interference" if going into oversteer, but still will apply the appropriate brake to get back in control befor things turn to terminal oversteer. It allows more driver control while still having a safety net. I turn TC off when I want to spin the tires off the line...but always at least have Comp Mode active, usually, full AH. On a track, I'd definitely use Comp Mode. Otherwise, when just driving around, I leave it all on.:thumbsup:Normal == traction control and active handeling
Comp mode == active handeling (the wheels can spin)
none == your on your own (no active handeling and no traction control)
I typicaly drive in comp mode... I like the the ability to spin the wheels, but like the idea of having computer assisted over-steer and under-steer correction...
wait so on my c5 all i would have to do is hit it once and its ALL off or is it different on a c6think of it this way
everything on- like having a nagging old lady preventing you from skidding or peeling out
comp mode- kinda like a guardian angel, only there when you need it, allows for small skids and rubber peels, ideal for spirited drives
all off- no restrictition, if you want to do dohnuts/ burnouts use this mode.
on mine i press the button to toggle through the choices, i think on a c5 you need to hold the button down to enter comp modewait so on my c5 all i would have to do is hit it once and its ALL off or is it different on a c6
you do, i was just wondering if when i just hit it once it says traction control off and thats it so if i were to try and do a dough nut would i put it in comp mode or just turn the traction control offon mine i press the button to toggle through the choices, i think on a c5 you need to hold the button down to enter comp mode
aw its alright, as for dohnuts you'll want everything offyou do, i was just wondering if when i just hit it once it says traction control off and thats it so if i were to try and do a dough nut would i put it in comp mode or just turn the traction control off
