Has anyone run a transmission cooler with a thermostatically controlled fan in the rear of the car? I'm not running a spare tire bucket so I've got lots of room. I can't seem to get my 700R-4 running cool enough to keep my mind at ease. I took the lines out of the new alum. rad. because it was actually heating the oil and just ran them through an 8"x14"x3/4" cooler in front of the rad. (Engine temp is between 190 and 210 depending on whether I'm in town or on the highway.) The trans still runs mostly between 160 and 200 degrees, which is dangerously hot. I was thinking of running lines to the rear of the car where the spare used to be to a cooler with a fan to see if that would solve the issue, but am not sure I would get enough air flow back there. Maybe run both coolers? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Art
