Donald Trump has said that he's "seriously considering" running for President. Would you vote for him?

Just what this country needs. An over the top blow hard that thinks he is briliant because daddy gave him a valuable business while he uses bankruptcy as a weekly tool to screw his creditors.

I think he re-organized and payed everyone in his bankruptcy filings. He's got the business background to get the economy moving again. I'm undecided but leaning towards yes.

Maybe a better source than a blog. Seems he's emerging from chapter 11. Court approved. Reorganizing debt. Anyway he's still got the business background and a life of success in the open market. We need someone with a solid background and proven track record to get the economy going.

The blog directed you to the sight you linked to....

And the quote from that sight....

The company added it has eliminated about $1.3 billion in debt and will retain use of the Trump brand.

How do you think you eliminate $1.3 billion in debt???

I would think that Trump would make for a very entertaining president, I'd love to see every government building have "TRUMP" in front of it like the TRUMP post office!

The TRUMP super carrier!
The TRUMP main battle tank!
The TRUMP Post office!

How much worse could he be than the last three presidents we have had?

 What do you think the US gov is about to do? Pay $14 trillion back?

If he eliminated $1.4 billion of his own debt, maybe he can eliminate $14 trillion of the government's debt..

Comb-overs aside...he is a master wheeler and dealer. He also does not seem the least bit sheepish to cut someone loose who isn't pulling their weight.

Hmmmm. Intriguing.

No Way:crazy:

Trump is not a well balanced individual and doesn't measure up to what we need in a leader.

Not my ideal candidate, but he knows business and isn't an inexperienced socialist academic. Given the obama alternative, I would absolutely vote for Trump.

I'm not much of a blog faithful. Eliminated doesn't mean he was allowed to just write it off. The guy is a good business
man. He only owns 28% of the casino's that have his name.
He also employs thousands that still have a job. He must be doing something right. And the great thing about it is he's not in our pocket when doing so. Who else do we have to choose from. Obama again? Palin? Biden? I think Trump would get the respect because of his success. What success did Obama have before office? Look where we are now. We went from one mess to a bigger mess. And no end in sight.

:agree:
I'd like to see him take on Barney Frank and the Fannie and Freddie mess. He'd clean that up in one swipe of the pen...
Hey Barney...you're fired!

I also think we'd have independence on foreign oil with him. He's a big proponent of using our native resources.
Hey Salazaar...you're fired!

At the same time I'm sure he'd figure out a way to get a real alternative energy agenda that pays for itself on track.
Hey Jones...you're fired!

He'd get the prosections going at Gitmo.
Hey Holder...you're fired!

He'd seal the borders and get immigration reform set up.
Hey Incompitano...you're fired!

He'd lower taxes and give the correct business incentives to get businesses to start hiring again.
Hey Bloom...you're fired!

No glorified "Reality" television show host for me. The man is the ultimate in "all about me" syndrome. Part of this countries problem if you ask me. He can't even marry one woman and stay with her........geeeeez!

I'll pass:thud:

Except for the part about being unsuccessful in love that sounds just like Obama. No?

Given the views and abilities that Trump posesses that Obama doesn't, I would go with Trump over Obama, because I believe he has vast experience over Obama in the areas that Obama has failed in.
