Yeah always write down your mileage before you take your car in

When I had my fender repainted I told the owner that no one was to drive my car,

And he saw me photo the odometer for evidence,

The body shop Damaged E_tars car I beleive

So I will always document everything before my car goes in,

It's just a good policy and tell them that you do not want them to drive your car.

I hope that tuner never tunes another car again !

This is exactly the reason people do their own work. I hope the owners insurance goes after this guy hard.

Hmm, I'd hate to have seen what would have happened if he drove the car "like a man" instead of "an old lady". I do believe I will stick to doing all of my own repairs, modifications and fabrication, you just can't trust others to do things to your own standards.

True. ****er took it for a spin after the body worrk and with BRAND NEW fresh paint. And hit a pole against the passenger door, cracking it.

I was so ****in pissed. I had a thread about it in the C3 section I believe.

Oh well. If it was a ford GT I would have killed myself.

The tuner needs a wood shampoo,

with a Louisville Slugger.

And the tuner had NO INSURANCE.

I hope the owner of that tragic mess

has a good Lawyer.

I'm sure the owner of the Ford GT has a good attorney.

Still what a bummer. Wonder what kind of damage has to be done to a $140K car before they total it?

With the price of GT replacement parts these days, not as much as you would think. One of the local vette club members in into the GTs as well, he says you can buy a GT at book and part it out for a considerable profit.
