The stock wheels on my 84 need some refreshing. The black paint in the center needs a little touch up, most of the clearcoat is peeling and the aluminum that is showing through needs a good polishing. What is standard procedure to making these things look good? It is going to get driven, so perfection is not necessary. It would be nice, but when it gets driven, nothing is perfect.

If you ever wanted to put other wheels on your ride, now is the time. There are place that refinish wheels for $125-$150 each. That would go a long way toward a new set.

Hmmm. I'll have to see what's available for aftermarket. I want to stay with the factory size, as the roads here aren't the greatest and I like the extra cusion of the 16". I like the factory wheels, but if there's something affordable that looks better I'll take it.
