$200 BILLION... :rolling: These idiots shouldn't be running a snow cone stand, much less a country.

By MICHAEL D. SHEAR

Conservative groups have not dumped $200 billion in political ads on the heads of Democratic candidates.

It evidently just feels that way to the White House.

In an interview with Al Hunt of Bloomberg News scheduled to be shown Friday night, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. commented on the need for disclosure when corporate interests contribute to political groups.

“I was amazed at the amount of money, this $200 billion of money that is — where there’s no accountability,” he said. “When I say accountability, we don’t know where it’s coming from. There’s no disclosure, so the folks watching the ad can’t make a judgment based upon motive when you say it’s paid for by so-and-so.”

But his tongue slipped again a moment later. “So it really — I’ve never seen this before, so the only caveat I’d put in terms of the House is how much impact this $200 billion are going to mean.”

That's some funny stuff, right there.

I guess it depends on what you determine to be, 'the smart money'.

When Bush ran, all we heard about was the record flood of evil conservative money. Then when Obama ran, we heard about how smart the Dems were to raise record amounts with the Internet being their goldmine. Now it's 2010 and it is once again evil to raise lots of money. I guess the simple rule is that if Dems raise it, it's smart. If Pubs raise it, it's evil. What else is new?

The Tea Party raised a record amount of funds in only 4 weeks. I didn't see a lot of negativity around that news item. I don't think it is as you say.

A wise lawman once told me "don't expect to be treated with respect as long as you continue to ride with Jesse James" figurative but he got his point across without naming names.

I would suggest before the GOP regains the respect from the majority of Conservative supporters they will have to do some house cleaning. Thanks to the current administration, it has become very apparent that the Dems need to do some house cleaning or they will be flushed out of power as well. This economic crisis has awakened a large majority of the voters. I hope it results a better elected officials.

IMO Bush was a failure as is Obama. I hope the next elected President will be much better than the last 2 and that fresh Congressional representatives will be a step up as well.

I don't think either one have had much say in their presidency.. Obama hasn't done anything "socialist" like he gets accused of, and Bush was far from "conservative".

Under both admins, the only ones who benefited are the "too big to fail/jail" crowd. From Bush's tax cuts and expanded government, to Obamacare, financial reform and the shared bailouts.

The 2 parties are one in the same, and neither are working for the people, IMO.

If Teddy was the "Lion of the Senate" then Biden was the "Village idiot". Does anyone really think Obama wanted Joe Biden? I really don't..
