Referring to the vents on the deck behind the rear glass, not on my '75.
They were sealed up.
I believe only the Chrome bumper cars had them functional.

Good question - don't remember if the vents on my '74 worked or not. I assume they did, but I'll dig around and see if I can find out for sure.

Ecklers and other vendors sell a rear deck vent hole grill for a 76.
In my 76 I don’t have vent holes but I’d like to know if original
The 76 had this grill installed so if yes I’ll try to open them
And install the grill.

Earlier Vettes had vents. Also, A/C cars had them sealed. Only non-A/C cars had functional vents on the rear deck. Most have a drain tube in them.

My 75 a/c has the grilles open to the gas tank underneath, but the opening to the rear interior are factory sealed with sheet metal plates.

...No,they did not have them...
:agree:
The deck vents were part of the Astro-Ventilation system. For 68-74 cars, they may actually work. For 75s, the vents are there, but nothing else.

Beginning with the 76s when Astro-Ventilation was discontinued, the vent are gone.
