I do this everytime I drive through the Squirrel Hill Tunnel in Pittsburgh. It's a 3/4 mile tunnel. This is after the Heads/Cam swap, rest of mods in sig. 3rd gear pull.

I remember going through that tunnel in Pittsburgh and wondering how much of a bitch it must be when they have a wreck in there during rush hour.

Then I saw the dedicated tow trucks! :thumbsup:

Driving through during rush hour is a bitch anyway, all because people cant drive normally through a tunnel. You'll sit in traffic for awhile only to reach the tunnel and then it clears up, crazy lol.

That is cool, would be fun to do a launch and go all the way through the gears in that tunnel.
I've done a couple 2nd through 4th pulls before with no traffic, the sound and the sense of speed is amazing.:thumbsup:

Very Cool.

And it's typical of our local drivers to be hoggin' the left lane like the driver in front of you.

Do you know that there are exits near both ends of the tunnel where you can flip around and come back the other way?

No I did not know that. I'll have to try a few hours doing that.:laughing:

Love it. There's a tunnel that is just a lil over a mile at Cumberland Gap on US25 near the KY, VA and TN lines. Every time we roll through on the bikes we cause a menace in the tunnel.

Funny story, when a Haz-Mat load goes through they temporarily close the tunnel and escort the truck through. A group of 4 of us were at the front of the line when this happened one time. When we got the green light to go the 4 of us accelerated as hard and as fast as we could for most of that mile. It was a deafening blast.
