im getting ready to slide in my 383 superram with afr195's. i have stud girdles on the rocker studs and wondering if anyone is running a setup like mine and what they used. i think the comp cam covers look sexy but im open to the input of others. as i understand too tall will geve me problems with the wiper motor .

Perimeter or centerbolt covers?

i will be runing stud gidles so Perimeter will be the ticket. if nothig else i have the means to modify for clearance of the altanator and wiper motor but bolt up would be best

Style shouldn't make a difference to girdle fitment

Does in relation to wiper clearance though
CB covers set in more at end before rising up so most tall ones will clear the wiper , whereas similar height in a perimeter style won't
Had to " massage" my 4" tall steel ones in about 1/2" for wiper clearance

so if they're cast tall perim, you're effed?
