Would your insurance cover it?

I would push it out to the street, away from the track, then call my insurance company.

If you hit it at the far end at 100+mph, then shovel might be a better word than "push"

Are you worried about something?

Anyway, just like they said. Get it out to a street and call AAA for a tow and then your insurance company.
Matt
I agree, take it away from the track and call the insurance company, if it was real real bad just drop it off somewhere on the way home and call it in stolen, lol

P.S. I would never tell the insurance company it happened at the track as 99% of insurance companies won't cover you, unless you requested special insurance for this
I agree with Mike.
This is why when I get stuck next to a 10 second Crap box in primer (you know what I mean) or a real dragster, I make sure they are far enough out so they don't take me out with them.
At Calispeedway a guy hit the wall and the police was at the strip and took an accident report immediately. He is up the creek if you know what I mean.

I wonder how much it will cost to have it Drag-Strip cover? im worried about that too cuz im new to racing and if i put some mods in it and i lose controll and i smash it im screw :(
My goal is mid-low 12s so I'm not realy worried about loosing control on the strip. If another driver loses control and comes over center line I'll no doubt sustain "back injuries" so it will get "taken care of".

If, for some reason, I wreck my car on a pass then I have to eat it.

This is one reason I don't run my Vette on a road course. Even if out there alone it would only take one slip up in a turn to put her into the weeds.
I'd take it off the track and dump it waaaayyyyy down the street. I asked about race insurance and the broker told me "No, we don't carry it and don't tell me anything about racing." I took that as my fair warning to do anything NOT to get caught!
I am going to call State Farm and see what other coverage is available for me. Such as "show car" insurance and the like. THEN I can get out of emissions testing... then I'll flip my insurance back to normal....
Push it out into the street, go home get my trailor, take it home and place it next to a tree.
Why do you ask ?
Did I miss something ?

Nope! Just a question... the GS is fine.... :)
We have wrecked at the track twice. First time took out the nose, left fender, left headlight as, left rear quarter, & rear fascia. I could not sleep if I tried to scam the ins. co. so we bought the parts & fixed it ourselves (98 coupe)

2nd time we took out the rear fascia & right rear quarter. Same thing. Bought the parts used & had a shop paint them & installed ourselves.
