I put in door panels and carpeting on my previous vette about 4/5 yrs ago. Got them from Corvette America. Everything fit like a glove and the carpet was high quality 80/20 loop.

Has anyone used them recently? I wonder if their quality has deteriorated or if maybe their pricing is high since nobody has mentioned them.

I used their door panels and dash, because I was not aware of the difference.
I am quite satisfied, but every one has told me Al Knoch is better yet.

I was told at one time that CA did not make their own interiors. They bought them from a general vette suppplier. Do you know if that is true? I am presuming that AK makes his own.

Depends on what you want.
If you want to go for the stock look, I have good experiences with Eckler's.
If price is no issue and you want a custom look, I'd say that Carravaggio is very hard to beat.

They might. I remember one time I ordered something from another store and they shipped it from corvette central. What was the point of even ordering from the other place

PRICE! Many vendors sell CA (and others) stuff cheaper than CA. Refrence Wilcox. Got my new CA door panels from a fleabay vendor @ HALF the cost that CA wanted. Vendors buy in bulk and pass savings on to the consumer.

interior 59 corvette

I have always read Al Knocks interiors were the best but I live in Australia and when my $4000 interior package arrived I was so unhappy with the leather colour all blotchy , they offered me a $300 credit even before it arrived here I knew it was fu--ed did not want a credit I wanted a good interior and now that Im fitting my so called complete door trims that dont fit pissed off im pulling back the leather to trim the upper metal panel to reduce the gap of 12mm to the garnish molding .
Will have to spray the complete interior to have a solid colour for this interior with zebra stripes just wont cut it
Still angry and disappointed with them should have gone elsewhere :smack

Who makes the best door panels

C A do produce their seat covers, door panels, dash panels in their plant I had the pleasure of touring their plant .
I bought their seat covers and door panels . My only
problem was I didn't want to cut out the hole for the shoulder belt . I didn't want to mess em' up . I ended up taking them
to some one that knew what they were doing .
I'm very happy how everything looks and fits .

I bought a complete new interior from Al about 2-3 years ago....I wrote them with photos of their door panels and how bad they looked. They took their door panels out and installed them in a 68 like mine.

They sent me an email thanking me for pointing out the flaw in the door panel and how badly it fit....took them about 1-2 months to re-tool and send me the corrected door panels...and they thanked me many times and even sent me $200.00 worth of interior rubber stuff...the new 68 corrected style fit very nice.
