I plan on getting either a Corsa/BB/Borla exhaust soon, and was wondering if it would void my 100,000mile/7yr warranty. The whole car is covered, bumper to bumper, everything.

I've done up a couple cars in the past, but none(except an old C4) were GM's, so i don't know how a GM warranty would work with this case.

Also, I've seen countless threads on a variety of topics asking if this, that and the other will ruin a warranty, but i would like a straight and factual answer.

Thanks, much appreciated

No, a cat-back exhaust will not void your warranty. If you have long-tubes some dealers may give you a hard time with warranty work.

No.. as long as you plan is to go from the cat back it will not void the warranty.... headers, cat swaps ect... can be a whole different story.

Actually mine told me any mods what so ever would negate my warranty...So it basically boils down too if your SA (service advisor)is an Azzhole or not lol...
