95 Vette
1-pull and clean radiator and flush system
2-replace hatch weatherstrip
3-replace trim at center console

72 Vette
1-replace all weatherstripping
2-install Hot Rod Air a/c system
3-replace power steering box with smaller aftermarket piece.
4-replace rag joint
5-OD tranny
6-make & install aluminum front air dam

That should keep me out of trouble for a few weeks.;)

why the smaller power steering box? save weight?

1.) Get my 4-post lift together.
2.) Radio repaired on the 91
3.) X-Pipe installed on the Z06
4.) and maybe Short Shifter on the Z06

On C3's there's a material gasket type thingie from the steering column joint to box connection called a rag joint. Over time this guy can no longer be tightened to adjust slop and needs replacing.

I've never actually fooled with this except to try to tighten slop out of the steering. Because I gained very little, I assume that's the problem.

Oh the main project during the winter will be making the money to buy the parts. Can't install till the spring. Not enough room in the garage and too cold!

yeah....I'm looking at a gas fired space heater in mine. I may call a residential heating company to advise me on that.

There's a bad point to this climate no time to fix the car always driving it.:D

Hope you get all that done though.Maybe next winter we can switch cars and I'll drive yours and you can fix mine.:D

You guys are 180 degrees from me. I'd have it apart in those muggy Florida summer months tinkering in an air conditioned garage.:cheers:
