I think I have an issue with the windshield wipers on my 91. Here is what it does:
1. When I move the control knob to mist I get the spray of cleaner but the wipers don't move, although I do hear a noise coming from the wiper motor that sounds like a connection is occuring but no wiper movement - even when I continually hold the lever in the mist position
2. When I turn the wipers from off to high they work ok but seem a bit sluggish. They will work when going from high to low and then to the delay settings, but again the motor seems weak.
3. If I turn the control knob from off to the any of the delay indents I can hear the same click noise coming from the wiper motor, but in most cases I get no wiper movement.
4. When operating the wipers they rarely return to their off position and remain stuck at whatever position they were in when I turned the control knob to off. I haVE to work the control knob to get it to a point where I can get the wipers to settle into their resting position
So, it sounds like it may be the motor, but wanted to get your opinions.
Thanks, Mark
