I'm driving in again, arriving on 8/9 to be ready for the GM Tech Center's 3 shows on the 11th: a 50th Anniversary 57 Chevy show, 40th Anniversary Fbody show and a Corvette show which I've registered for.

A friend from Riverside has arranged a tour of the GM Heritage Museum in Sterling Heights on the 13th. The cost will be between $20 and $30 depending on how many show up. Send a pm if you're interested.

The Dream Cruise, www.woodwarddreamcruise.com is on the 18th. I met Zippy last year. Midnight said he was going last year. Who else is planning to be there?

The Dream Cruise is so much better than an ALMS race...I pity you.

Hey, make sure if you go to the Dream Cruise to stop by the Eaton tent and sneak in a free meal and unlimited Mountain Dew.

You would have to have an employee allocate tickets for you and then give them to you-unfortunately, I don't think California is close enough to get you those tickets.:D

But the security is far from tight....;)

I am going to be there for the 40th party for the Camaro. I will be there in my 02 Camaro SS. I will have to get over to the Corvette show also. I will be staying over the wk of 8/12 for the Woodward Ave Dream Cruise also.

Look for me in my Camaro SS. See pic.

I'm jealous you guys. We used to cruise Whittier Blvd and the Sunset Strip in the 60's and 70's, but those days are gone. In September the city of San Bernardino closes its down town section creating a closed 4 mile loop that is cruise-able only by those registered in the Route 66 Rendesvous car show. Registration is limited to only about 2500 cars. We go every year - no matter how hot it is. It's a 4 day event but I'm sure it pales in comparison to the Woodward Ave event.

I hear you sometimes see some Detroit concepts on the street(?). Take lots of pics to share with those of us who are half a continent away!

I'm missing the Dream Cruise for Rick Conti's EVS show in Wisconsin.

But I will be at the Tech Center this weekend, unless it pours. I won't be in the show, but I will bring my C6. Wolverine, FlyaZ06, I'd love to meet some fellow DCers if we can figure out how to do it!
