Well I installed my stripes this weekend and they came out fairly good.
I have done stripes before and took my time and followed the directions. However when all was said and done, there seems to be a multitude of mini irregularities in the finish as though the tape was over sand. I have a few bubbles that I can massage out but I'm concerned if the rough finish will stay or dissapate over time. What do you think? Thanks

Did you clay bar the area before installation?

No clay bar, but I washed the areas several times, cleaned with windex, and finished up with alcohol. Did the same procedure on my Camaro which came out good. Those were white and maybe I didn't notice the irregularities. Now with the Black it looks different.

I have done both colors as well. The black stripes show up everything. Especially in the sunlight. Its possible to have grains of sand embedded in the clearcoat. That is where a clay bar would remove that. When removing the stripes from the backing film it creates static which could have pulled some dust onto it before laying it on the body panel.
