I bet it would get better gas mileage than the "Brick on wheels"

That is a very nice car i am like the rest of you i cant see how someone has a car like that and not wont to drive it. I bought a 95 vett with only 11250 miles this past september and i have driven it about 3500 miles now and that just does not seam enough.

Just think, assuming that it came with a full tank of gas from the dealer, the owner has only put gas in it 2 or 3 times since 1995! What a waste of an awesome car.

I'd love to own a ZR-1 just because of the pedigree, but I'd imagine they are more difficult/expensive to work on than small blocks. Plus, I prefer the styling and interior of the newer models. The ZR-1 will always hold a special place in my heart, though.

For all its greatness and recognizable 'status'....it's just not the style of Vette I like...HOWEVER, I can see the beauty in owning such a limited production, early American 'super car'...at least that's what I think! ;-)

And IMHO, this could sell at B-J for 6 figures...however, I don't see that happening anytime within the next 5-10 years....15-20..maybe....20+ years...Definitely.

If you liked the red one check this black one out it only has 477 miles showing and is nice.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chev...ategoryZ6168QQihZ002QQitemZ120112475451QQrdZ1
I saw that one there yesterday. I was inspired by this thread to check eBay for ZR-1s to see what they're going for - because they were the first Corvette that I was really obsessed with as a 16 year old kid. As it is, a C5, especially a C5 Z06, is a better performance bargain and probably cheaper to buy, upgrade, and maintain. But the ZR-1 definitely has some great exclusivity!
