Need a GM part number for the Z06 Rear Brake Scoop Kit to eliminate chips.
These are on 2007 Z06's after VIN 23095.

Dealer couldn't find #'s. Called back with the #'s. 25790358 Right and 25790357 Left. Retail $9 and change each.

That part number doesn't work on any of the GM online cats. I haven't heard of this part. I've got a Z I bought in November and am curious what it looks like. Please give me some more info. THX

The "After" contains more rubber where the paint is facing the front direction of the car.... I guess. :huh:

I guess that's what it is, but that hardly looks like any difference at all, and certainly not enough more plastic to add any amount of protection against rock chips. That looks like millimeter differences we're talking about here. Hopefully someone can enlighten us.

It Isn't much difference at all, but if you look, the amount of forward facing paint vulnerable to rock chips is significantly reduced. They made the change on the part for a reason. Good post

GM should have made the rubber/plastic cover the entire area to the extent of overlapping a little.
