Ive got an 80' model that ive put an LT1 and ZF 6 speed into. I cut up the cross member and made it work but i know ive seen a picture on DC of one someone had made from scratch. It looked great!! I was looking for a pic to go by. If anyone has done this build and has any pics of a clean cross member send them my way.

I have never seen another ZF6 in a C3, well one but that was an LT5 w/ ZF6 and I never saw how he mounted it. On CF there was a guy who climed to have a ZF6 but it turned out to be something else, possibly a T56. At least not a ZF since it didn't use a c beam rear mount.

Maybe the tubular member you speak of is a bowtie overdrives one modified? I have seen where Felix (Megladon) used one for his T56.

Maybe. Thanks. Your setup is beautiful, I drooled abit wishing my LT1 was going to have a turbo!!!! Im building it as an every day driver. But..... Who says she couldnt eventualy!! if you got any tips id love to hear em!!!!!!!!

Can you snap some pics of how you have yours installed? I cut the floor, otehrwise the trans couldn't go up high enough for minimal driveline angles
