I prefer N/A with gassers, so cam+tune should give you the power you're looking for. AFAIK, LS7 heads are about the most flowey heads available, so throwing a sick cam, headers, and a tune should yield healthy gains.

I chose Katech to do mine because I felt they were the best. Prices for the engine, headers, etc. is about the same. However, I had other parts also upgraded like the radiator, clutch, transmision and rear end and the brakes plus some other engine upgrades. I just am not a forced induction guy. I don't like all the added weight in the front end.

Call Jason at Katech and tell him what you want. If you just want to go straight the turbo or blow it. If you also want to turn then go with Katech.

I would strongly recommend not going forced induction, for a couple reasons:

1. non-forged pistons and very thin cylinder walls

2. overheating issues

3. Doesn't sound as good as N/A

4. More $$, but it sounds like that doesn't matter for you...

Another company, which I can't name here because of legal issues, has a N/A package for 9k which gets you 630hp, which wouldn't be 600 at the rear wheels , but is still a lot. The company's name is 4 syllables, and is out of Decatur, Indiana.:D

Katech is only about 15 minutes from where I live (Clinton, right?) Definitely a good company, if not a little expensive.

I just got mine back from Katech today and I don't think they are expensive for what you get! Just tell Jason the HP you want and he will tell you the price. Now if you want other goodies, like me, trans & rear end upgrade, radiator, clutch, brakes, spoiler, the price goes up as with more HP.

Good Luck.
