With Porsche a class down in LM racing, the C6R seems a long ways away from its actual market competition. I mean, it's grat that we're spanking Ferrari and Aston tail, but are their buyers really looking at the race results when they make their decision? I doubt it.
I don't know what the classification rules are, but why doesn't GM build a Z06R that can run in the GT2 class against the Porsches? Can they only run one class? Are there limitations that I don't know about? The stock vettes are the same size as the porsches, and put out roughly the same power (depending on trim). I think that would really help them start stealing more sales from Porsche. Of course, so would actually building the Blue Devil!
Anyone with knowledge on the subject care to enlighten me?
