These cars look so much better with a bit of lowering.

 

Tell me about it, I was getting tired of seeing everyone elses that had been lowered and mine was still sky high, but other resto/mods took priority, I'm just glad this one is finished. Now for that hydroboost system for the brakes

Man it is so crazy how simply lowering these cars changes the whole damn look so dramatically. Looks great! Can't wait for mine to lose some altitude. :thumbsup:

 

Don't hesitate doing it. It made a huge difference in the appearance but the way it handles now is night and day difference, so much so that I ordered a 1 1/8" front anti-sway bar kit from VB&P and might upgrade my AC Delco shocks to Bilsteins down the road. I only wish I had done this back in January when I rebuilt the front end, but I didn't know about these springs at that time.

where did you measure your height from? center wheel arch?

 

Yes, nothing fancy, just a Stanley 30ft measuring tape using the center cap on the wheel as a guide. In addition I measured in the garage and out just in case the floor wasn't level.
