P1626 - TDR bad?

First, I've read this site quite a bit, and found it extremely useful. I'm currently in China right now, and my girlfriend is borrowing my 2001 Z. Afterwork today she went out to the car and was unable to start it. Thanks to this site I was able to walk her through the process of trouble shooting. but still have a few questions.

When she tries to Start the car nothing happens. All lights, gauges work properly. WHen she tries to start it there are no crank noises whatsoever.

As instructed by this site i had her run the codes. I had her write down each code as it came up ( this really took a while to explain to her, but after several tries she did pull the codes)

After she had all the old codes written down, i had her reset all the codes. Then i had her try and start the car again. The car did not start and made no noises. Lights and all still work.

So i had her run the codes again. The only code the system gave back was P-1625 which is Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Lost

I'm now assuming that the TDR relay has gone bad. Am I right to assume this? I guess the next step is to jump the relay, although i think thats a bit to complicated to explain to my girlfriend over the phone. any other things i might try?

Thanks

Ignition

Yeah, I had my brother go up and try the spare key. It got the Car started. thanks BonneRisque . The vats on the old key were so worn that it wasnt making good contact.

My brother insisted that he could actually feel that the ignition "sprung" back into its proper place with the newer key. He said it took a few jiggles to get the ignition to cooperate. The new key is only a few months old, and my brother said its quite a bit wider than the old one.

So maybe my ignition is on its way out too.
