I think it is time for me to replace the bulbs in gauge cluster and in the speedo dash. Can someone tell me how many there are and which ones are which? I assume that the bulbs for the signals and bright and brake lights are the same as the gauge illumination bulbs right? How many total am I going to need to go buy? I want to replace all of them because they are old and fading and some are burnt out. Thank you.

Be carefull with LED's...Been There Done that...No Dim to bright Control. I had to replace a Few led's with High Intensity Bulbs with Colored condoms. IF you are thinking of colored LED's ...Pls Do not try Amber (Yellow) at $12.00 per LED... It is NOT BRITE AT ALL... Green pretty O.K. as far as Illumination... Just a Heads up

The side markers, tag, and spare tire bulbs are number 168. Dash bulbs are number 194, which are less bright than the 168s. Then the shift light indicator is a 161 bulb even less bright still, and the foot well courtesy liughts are 906s which are a little brighter. The overhead bulb on the center cluster that shines on the HVAC controls is a 558 which is brighter still. Have fun...

Dude

I just read that yours is a 74 model...forget everything I just said...except for have fun...

I had not considered Leds because I have heard that normal bulbs are brighter and since these have lasted so long I do not imagine needing to change them any time soon. Through searching I have found 21 bulbs for just the gauge clusters and then I think there might be a few in the center console.
