Need some advise got a problem with my 97 chevy truck, 2 wheel drive with a 350 I have trans fluid in my coolant. Is a new radiator in order vs having a repair shop repair, flush and refill all the fluids. And what kind of damage am I looking at. The trans dip stick in coated with pure trans fluid. The rad and overflow can is full of red milky soup. On all weekends to go down, nothing is open.

The radiator has an integrated trans fluid cooler inside the side portion and it is leaking. The reason you don't have coolant (a good thing!) in the trans is the trans fluid is at a much higher pressure than the coolant. Just take it out and bring it back for an exchange. Radiator is faulty.
