Bill- Scott- bring me your cars- I'll wire them up- I actually enjoy doing it!!!
Having to drop the transmission and deal w/ the hyd line took some wind out of me....
HRPT was a blast till about Memphis when I realized it was more than just a ticking lifter.
But made it almost home- the last 25 miles on a flatbed- and my GF had AAA so it was no big deal- plus the towtruck had AC!!!
I am looking forward to 2016!!!
And maybe -just maybe- get married ON the Tour. My GF wanted to do something fun- I said howabout on the Power Tour and she though it was a great idea.
Anyway- the GF closed on her house a couple weeks after we got back from the Power Tour- between moving her in and getting my house -as she says "finished"- the Vettes are not really getting the attention they deserve.
The floor guys will be finished in a few days- had to clear out the house for them after moving all my GF stuff in- so I have been busy- but do see some time in the garage in my future!!!
I'm thinking of just dropping in a crate 350 in the 73- just makes too much sense as I will probably sell it - with the numbers matching engine on a stand (Did I just say numbers matching?)
I have some really off the wall ideas for my next project...
This comes to mind-

Or maybe putting a LS4 w/ from a FWD late 07-09 Impala transaxle and mount it transverse out back-
Couple of differences from a LS1- but could easily see a 500HP mid engine C3...or go nuts- w/ two LS4-one in front and one out back- for a 1000HP AWD!!!!
Here's an Ariel Atom w/ the LS4 out back-
Here's a guy w/ a Northstar in the back of a PU
And here is what I have been up to-
Redoing the ceiling sheetrock-floors-paint...
